Masters Taekwon-do Seminar
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Master Sutherland VIII deg, Master Thompson VII deg and Master Wallace VII deg, for the excellent day and evening of technical instruction they gave at our school on Monday 23 March. As I will be taking part of the pattern event at the UKTF technical seminar this coming Saturday, 28 March, the technical instruction was invaluable for me, and I know it was of great benefit to everyone who attended, especially those who have degree gradings coming up this Sunday, 29 March.

Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha 9th Degree Seminar News
Mr McNairn attended a seminar with Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha the pioneering Master of Taekwon-Do in the UK, and founder of the UKTA.
It was a unique opportunity, for Mr McNairn to once again train under the master who graded him to 2nd deg, and who he had not seen since the unfortunate demise of General Choi Hong Hi 9th Deg in 2002.
Master Wallace
Master Wallace has now left the UKTF, and has decided to follow a different path in his long and distinguished Taekwon-do career, with the formation of his new group, Taekwon-do Scotland. He will be aided in his efforts mainly by Mr Mark Hutton VI deg, also formerly of the UKTF. As well as being a founder member of the UKTF, Master Wallace has been at the forefront of the UKTF’s development for many years, and he will be sorely missed by our federation.

This website has been designed to assist current and potential new students (Jeja) of Taekwon Do and Korean Kickboxing, on what we can offer at our Black Belt Academy, based at the Montrose Sports Centre in Tayside, Scotland.
Taekwon Do is a dynamic & still developing, Korean martial art which is suitable for all ages and both sexes.
Korean Kickboxing is the latest addition that our academy has to offer. It’s new…its fast…and its fun. Come along and try it. Great fun for all the family.
